Anderson has a virus. We visited the pediatrician's office yesterday and he has "one of those summer viruses". Coupled with the fact that 3 teeth have burst through the gums in two weeks makes for a poor little Anderson. It is difficult to discern what symptoms are teething and which are the virus, but the MD did say that he should not have had a persistent fever (low-grade) for 5 straight days with teething alone. As I suspected, he agreed that he probably caught something at nursery last week when I was volunteering...3/5 the five days he was with the mother's morning out crew which added 5 more babies to the mix instead of the 3. Overall, he has acted fairly normal. He is not eating as much as he normally does & tires more easily, but he is still pretty happy when he is awake! Until I try and suction his nose, which is for his own good! The saline treatments with the bulb syringe are not his favorite part of the day which unfortunately for him comes with every diaper change. Looks like we will continue take it easy, stay away from others, and have a low key 4th of July weekend. We have already had to bail on our swimming date, dinner out w/ friends, and a very important birthday party...but, it is all worth it to get back my healthy Anderson!

Oh, I hope Anderson feels better soon! It stinks when your baby is sick!
