Christmas Week!

The Sunday before Christmas, we went down to Beaufort to get together with my pals Jodie and Christie and their families-these 2 have been my friends for as long as I can remember! I can most accurately date our friendship to at least 25 years ago--needless to say, we go way back! Jodie and her husband Bryan welcomed their baby girl, Murphy, right before Thanksgiving. They live in Baltimore so this was the first time we were going to meet her--I was eager to get my hands on her and hold her!

Unfortunately, Christie and Brad's 3 children were not there :( I was really hoping to get a picture of the 5 of them, but maybe next time!

Later that evening, we headed over to a drop-in hosted by the parents of some high school friends, Steven and John Bailey. It was a great time and nice to catch up!

On the way to Spartanburg Tuesday afternoon, we made a pit stop at our good friends Stephen and Lindsay's place in Columbia. We all lived in Charleston together for a few years and then they moved for Stephen's job and a few months later we moved for Brad's. It was the perfect time to stop and feed & change Anderson and plus, Stephen had not met Anderson. Lindsay came down when he was a couple of weeks old, but Stephen wasn't able to come with her at the time! We had a quick visit and dinner and we were back on the road to Spartanburg. The visit was not nearly long enough and we really miss them!

What about that picture quality!! The ones at Stephen and Lindsay's were taken with my new Nikon D40 camera Brad got me for Christmas! It really takes fantastic pics, I do not know how I did without it!
