Recently, I went to the makeup counter at a department store, that is to remain nameless, to purchase some much needed staples in my makeup bag that were getting very low. Now, I do not have a lot of time at the moment and Brad and Anderson are in the car waiting for me---not so patiently. I tell the lady behind the counter exactly what I need. She asks me, like they always do, if I would like to try some of the new products. I, of course, decline because of the boys waiting in the car outside. Then she proceeds to say "are you sure?" "how about some concealer for those dark circles under your eyes?". No kidding. Before I said anything, I had a few responses that entered into my mind that included: "is this your new sales pitch", "do you have children", "I am a new parent with an infant", "I am wearing your brand concealer, that obviously does not work", " I could get rid of these dark circles if I had a live-in maid, cook, and nanny", and "a day at the spa would work better than your concealer". I often speak before I think and hurt others feelings when I do not mean to at all. So this is something that I have been working on sincerely. What did I say.......a simple "no thank you". I will say; however, that Bobbi Brown does have a challenge now to create a miracle concealer.

Oh my god, I would have LOVED to have been there for that conversation...I am getting a visual now, and that will just have to do.. :) Love ya girl! -J
Ha! That is hilarious!
You should have let her have it!!! Some people have all the nerve!
I do have to say that concealer was my best friend when I had Grayson--you could see my dark circles from MILES away! What new mother doesn't have them?? I guess those with live-in cooks, nannies, and maids! :)
